Stay in a regenerative farm means…

We offer a various range of accommodations from private rooms, studio, or tree house, to dormitories or camping spots. As part of our residency program we aim to bridge nature and culture, hosting a space for creativity to flourish and for new stories to be sown. Through welcoming creatives, researchers, thinkers and nature seekers to join us and experience life on an off-grid farm based on regenerative principles; residents can explore the farm as a playground and inspiration to develop their practice and/or a specific project for the duration of their stay. The residency is one month minimum, we offer various packages to choose from (accommodation, food, yoga, farm work, event access etc.) that will be given in detail upon inquiry.

FACILITIES

Bathrooms and toilets are shared between certain rooms. We built compost toilets that are attractive as well as educational and productive. The rain showers are heated by solar power straight from our spring water source. The use of natural soaps make sure we can recycle the water.

Somewhere in Portugal, between the misty-shrouded beaches and fields filled with jagged oak, is a place where people bring back life in all that has died and try to make a whole from the debris. Carefully they catch the rainwater and watch as the earth drinks it greedily. With time they see more and more life swarming, fidgeting, crawling, hunting, paring, flowering and shrivelling. Increasingly growing roots navigate beneath the earth surface and new species find home somewhere in the green that grows toward the sky. And in all this orchestrated chaos that appears around them, hides their awareness of being treasurers. To have been able to share in this dance, caused my heart a gallop in delight.
